The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000 depending on experience

The Sr. Electrical BIM Engineer leads the engineering, design, and technical coordination of electrical construction projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations.
This role requires advanced proficiency in Revit, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with field teams, designers, and clients throughout all project phases.
Lead the electrical design process for commercial, industrial, institutional, or mission-critical projects.
Develop and manage detailed electrical models and drawings in Revit, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, communication, fire alarm, and equipment layouts.
Review and interpret specifications, drawings, codes (NEC, NFPA), and client standards.
Perform electrical calculations, including load, fault current, voltage drop, and arc flash studies.
Ensure accuracy, constructability, and coordination across disciplines.
Oversee engineering deliverables from concept through construction and closeout.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other trades via BIM/Revit collaboration.
Lead design meetings, clash detection sessions, and model reviews.
Support project managers with schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, and change order documentation.
Provide technical guidance and problem-solving during construction.
Review shop drawings, field change directives, and as-built drawings for accuracy.
Assist field teams with installation coordination, resolving design conflicts, and implementing design changes.
Participate in site visits to verify existing conditions and ensure compliance with engineered documents.
Maintain adherence to the NEC, NFPA, local AHJ requirements, and internal quality standards.
Conduct internal design reviews and peer checks.
Ensure all Revit models and drawings meet company BIM standards and client deliverable requirements.
Mentor junior engineers and BIM designers.
Provide training and oversight on Revit workflows, model management, and electrical design practices.
Support continuous improvement of engineering and BIM processes.
