We're partnering with a client company to hire an Project Engineer - Electrical Engineer for a full-time remote position with benefits.

Location: Remote - with occasional travel to sites in New York

We're hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our client’s growing team. This is a full-time remote position with benefits.

The company’s projects range in size from 1,500 to over 500,000 square feet. They engineer, design, and provide consulting services for government buildings, hotels, prisons, psychiatric centers, higher education buildings, K-12 schools, health care facilities, museums, county buildings, DOT facilities, and commercial facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• PE (Professional Engineer) license a plus, EI (Engineer Intern) certification
• 5+ years of electrical engineering design experience in the construction industry
• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial and/or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of lighting design, lighting control systems, and applicable lighting software.
• Occasional travel throughout NY to various job sites
• Strong knowledge of Building, Electrical, Energy, and Fire Alarm Codes for the state of New York
• Experience with BIM software, Revit a plus
• Experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience preparing and editing project specifications.
• Project management, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
