Argo Group is seeking a Senior Construction Technical Claims Specialist Team Lead to adjudicate complex construction defect claims from multiple offices or fully remote in many states. The role requires extensive experience, licenses in several jurisdictions, and strong leadership to guide a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000+.
• Bachelor's degree required; designs or equal experience may supplement the degree.
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions; ability to obtain others within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate construction defect claims at high authority limits with technical complexity.
• Gather information, analyze, and investigate to resolve issues.
• Report trends and developments to senior management and underwriters.
• Negotiate complex settlements within authority and ensure best financial outcomes.
• Coordinate resources and maintain claims reserves and documentation.
