Job summary

Maxim Crane Works, L.P. is seeking a Dispatcher to ensure timely crane delivery to job sites and to supervise Operators, Drivers and Support Personnel. The role involves coordinating with the Branch Manager and other branches to optimize labor and equipment use across the network.

Must have a minimum of 3 years’ dispatch experience in construction or heavy equipment environments, and solid CMMS (JD Edwards) skills. High School diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction, fleet related industry with transportation or heavy equipment experience.
• 3+ years' experience using CMMS system (JD Edwards) in dispatcher or scheduling role.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, memos, and correspondences; write simple notes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates labor and equipment needs, assigns and dispatches, and maintains communication with Operators and Drivers.
• Coordinates with the Branch Manager and other branches to schedule efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Ensure permits, registrations, and insurance are up to date for every crane and truck.
• Review daily logs, e-tickets, and job cost alignment; prepare lift plans as needed.
• Assign daily tasks and print job-related plans and maps for field staff.
• Maintain customer relationships, handle complaints, and liaise between customers and employees.
