Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior finance role in construction.
• Experience supervising accounting staff and diverse teams.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and finance principles.
• Proficient in construction accounting software and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team orientation.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Ability to provide financial insights to project managers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial management including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Manage accounting operations: Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost/inventory accounting, revenue recognition.
• Coordinate budget preparation, forecasts and variance reporting.
• Prepare and publish monthly financial statements in a timely manner.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting preparation.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and internal control policies.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior leaders to provide financial insights.
