Job Details

Responsibilities:

• 1. Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
• 2. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• 3. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• 4. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• 5. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• 6. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• 7. Support month-end and year-end close process.
• 8. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• 9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• 10. Work closely with project managers and senior leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role in the construction industry.
• 3. Proven experience supervising accounting staff and managing diverse teams.
• 4. Strong knowledge of construction accounting software and advanced proficiency in general office software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
• 5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 7. Strong leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset.
• 8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 9. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• 10. High attention to detail and accuracy.
