Job summary

Fox Construction Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Controller and Project Accountant to manage financial operations, job costing, and project accounting for high-end residential and commercial developments in Steamboat Springs.

You will serve as the primary financial liaison to project managers and executives, ensuring accuracy from kickoff to owner handover using Sage 100 Contractor. The role requires 3–5 years of construction accounting experience, strong knowledge of AIA billing, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in construction accounting or project controller roles.
• Specialized knowledge of AIA pay applications, job-costing, retainage, and lien waivers.
• Proficiency with Sage 100 Contractor and Excel for reconciliations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly owner billing applications, draws, and final project billings.
• Code and enter vendor invoices into Sage 100 Contractor; review subcontractor billings for contract compliance.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain accurate job-cost forecasting and budget tracking.
• Assemble project closeout packages and ensure documentation compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractor bids, field logs, and site records.
