Fox Construction Inc. in Steamboat Springs, CO is seeking a Senior Custom Home Project Manager & Pre-Construction Estimator to lead high-end residential builds and commercial projects from budgeting through owner handover.

You will bridge pre-construction estimating and field execution, managing cost models, bids, budgets, value engineering, and daily field operations with site superintendents. This role requires expertise in custom residential estimating and project management within a mountain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, Civil Eng, or related field.
• 10+ years of estimating and project management in high-end builds.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, sequencing, and trades.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam/Planswift and scheduling software.
• Physical ability for active jobsite walkthroughs and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pre-construction cost estimating across all design phases.
• Manage RFPs, bids, and subcontractor negotiations.
• Direct field execution from mobilization to closeout.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors.
• Track budgets, change orders, and cost performance.
• Oversee owner handover and warranty activities.
