Are you a detail-driven accounting professional with a passion for construction projects? We are seeking a dynamic Project Accountant to join our team and play a crucial role in driving financial success across our exciting portfolio of construction projects.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Financial Excellence: Manage monthly job billings and subcontractor waivers with precision.
• Project Set-Up: Establish new projects in our accounting software and maintain accuracy with change order and budget updates.
• Ensure Compliance: Keep subcontractor and GC insurance current for each new project and assist project managers with sending out purchase orders and Master Vendor Agreements.
• Collaborate on Compliance: Work closely with subcontractors to ensure compliance with payroll and specific contract requirements, including IDOL/LCP Tracker entries.
• Support Project Teams: Provide guidance to project managers and subcontractors on financial matters and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Construction Accounting Experience: 3-5 years in a construction accounting role.
• Tech‑Savvy: Familiarity with Ebuilder and Office 365. Experience with Procore is a plus, or a willingness to learn.
• Software Skills: Experience with Sage 100 Contractor or similar accounting software is essential.
