Job summary

Red Cedar Construction Services, LLC, based in Charlotte, NC, seeks a hands-on Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations for a multi-entity construction portfolio. You will drive month-end closes, interim reporting, and internal controls while aligning with CFO and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Minimum of 5 years direct management experience.
• Construction/accounting multi-entity experience preferred.
• CPA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and tax reporting.
• Improve processes through automation and technology.
• Lead and develop accounting staff.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
