We are also looking for someone who is process-minded and technology-forward, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency through better systems, automation, AI tools, reporting enhancements, and workflow improvements. Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise, construction accounting systems, Smartsheet, BuildPro, Brixx, or similar platforms is strongly preferred.

  • Ensure accurate coding, classification, and allocation of costs across jobs, cost centers, departments, projects, and entities.
  • Review project profitability, margin trends, cost variances, committed costs, over/under billings, and other construction accounting metrics.
  • Facilitate workflow between shared services, accounting, operations, project management, and executive leadership.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests and support tax, banking, insurance, and compliance-related reporting.
  • Oversee treasury management, bank reconciliations, debt reporting, cash management, and cash flow planning processes.
  • Support financial strategy, including risk management, cost controls, margin analysis, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Provide high-level financial reporting, analysis, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, tax, accounting, and financial regulations.
