Job summary

DA Everett Construction Group seeks a Commercial Construction Controller to lead accounting operations for Raleigh and Charlotte offices. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance while guiding project teams and leadership with strategic financial insights.

The role requires 7–10 years of accounting experience in construction, with 3–5 years in a leadership capacity, and expertise in Sage 100 and Procore. CPA preferred and ties to company growth goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• 7–10 years progressive accounting experience with 3–5 years in leadership within construction.
• Experience with construction accounting systems; Sage 100 and Procore required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Lead and mentor accounting team including project accountants.
• Partner with project teams for accurate job costing, forecasting, and budgets.
• Manage cash flow, tax coordination, and external audits.
