Job summary

Intel Corporation in New Albany, Ohio is seeking a Construction Contracts Manager to lead sourcing, contracting strategies, and end-to-end procurement for complex construction projects supporting manufacturing expansion.

The role combines senior-level contract development, negotiations, and governance across Design Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain teams, with a focus on mitigating risk while achieving cost and schedule objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience in procurement/contract management.
• Experience leading complex contract negotiations and construction-related agreements.
• Experience in supply chain, procurement, and construction project management.
• Strong understanding of U.S. construction market and commercial norms.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, qualification, and selection for construction suppliers and contractors.
• Develop contracting strategies, commercial approaches, and compensation models.
• Manage design, construction and related services contracting lifecycle.
• Analyze market conditions and supplier capabilities to inform decisions.
• Drive procurement activities across the full lifecycle: planning, bidding, negotiation, award, execution.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and supplier partners.
• Ensure compliance with policies while minimizing risk.
• Utilize procurement systems and continuously improve processes and documentation.
• Establish KPIs related to cost savings, schedule, supplier performance, and quality.
• Coach project managers and buyers on procurement processes and tools.
• Resolve contract disputes and provide expertise in contracting methodologies and risk allocation.
