Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Contract Administrator for an on-site role in Raleigh, NC. The position supervises construction administration activities and ensures contract compliance with project documentation controls, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

The role involves coordinating with the Owner, design teams, and third-party stakeholders, maintaining records, and producing project reports to support successful delivery on healthcare projects.

Qualifications

• 7 years contract-related experience; advanced degree or contract certification may substitute for years of experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including complex Excel spreadsheets.
• Excellent writing and people skills.
• Strong math, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent HDR in construction administration per contract requirements and procedures.
• Intake, review, log, and track RFIs, submittals, and change items for compliance.
• Draft correspondence, responses, change orders, and other contract docs.
• Prepare monthly project reports, summaries, dashboards, and status updates for the Owner.
• Attend meetings and document minutes; track action items to closure.
• Review contractor schedules and assist with look-ahead planning and coordination.
