Job summary

Arizona Public Service seeks a Construction, Commissioning & Turnover Manager to lead field execution, commissioning, startup readiness, and asset turnover for the New Generation Construction portfolio. You will act as APS's owner representative across projects including combined-cycle, renewable energy, storage, and interconnections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10 years in construction, commissioning, startup and turnover on large industrial/infrastructure projects.
• 3 years of supervisory/management experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• PE license or CCM/CCM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field execution across the NGC portfolio, establishing standards and governance.
• Develop standardized commissioning and turnover programs for asset readiness.
• Interface with EPCs, OEMs, and suppliers to resolve field issues and ensure scope adherence.
• Manage turnover from construction to in-service, including procedures and as-built docs.
• Mitigate risks and provide leadership on project risks and contractor performance.
• Build a high-performing team through staffing and coaching.
