Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist for construction liability. This remote role supports handling moderate to high-exposure third-party bodily injury and general liability property damage claims for major developers and contractors across the country.

You will investigate, evaluate losses, negotiate settlements, and manage the claim lifecycle, possibly guiding junior adjusters and coordinating with counsel. A leadership mindset and strong collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years experience in managing 3rd party bodily injury and property damage litigated claims.
• Licensing required in some states.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and time management to delegate work and organize resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of multi-party construction bodily injury and property damage claims across jurisdictions. Independently manage moderate to high exposure claims involving Commercial General Liability policies including OCIP/CCIP and Self-Insured Retention programs.
• Drive proactive claim outcomes through early investigations and strategic decision making; own full claim lifecycle from coverage analysis and reserving to negotiation and resolution.
• Mentor and elevate team performance by coaching, provide guidance on coverage and investigation strategy, and reinforce best practices in documentation and communication.
• Participate in Suit Committees, Roundtables, Arbitrations, Mediations, field investigations and assist in closed file reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
