Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to tackle moderate to high exposure construction bodily injury and property damage claims for major owners, developers, and contractors nationwide. You’ll navigate complex liability issues, supervise assignments, mentor less experienced adjusters, and collaborate with counsel to drive timely, resourced resolutions.

This role is remote with the expectation to come into the office no more than twice a month for locations within 50

Qualifications

• 4-6 years experience in managing 3rd party bodily injury and property damage litigated claims for insured and self-insured clients.
• Licensing required in some states.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and time management to delegate and organize resources.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts investigations of multi-party construction bodily injury and property damage liability claims across jurisdictions.
• Own the full claim lifecycle from coverage analysis and reserving to negotiation and resolution.
• Mentor and elevate team performance by coaching less experienced adjusters.
• Participates in Suit Committees, Roundtables, Arbitrations, Mediations, field investigations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
