PrimECS in the United States seeks a Senior Construction Contracts and Claims Specialist to own the preparation of claims, change orders, and contract reviews for U.S. heavy civil and infrastructure projects.

Remote, part-time independent contractor; initial 3-4 months with potential extension. You will gather project records, develop contract revisions, and coordinate with project managers, finance, administrative staff, and external counsel.

Formación

• Hands-on experience preparing claims for U.S. heavy civil/infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting change-order prep, disputed payments, and claim review/negotiation.
• Ability to interpret contract requirements and reconcile claim calculations with source costs.
• Strong technical writing, analytics, spreadsheets, and document control.
• Ability to work independently across a distributed team within U.S. Eastern Time hours.

Responsabilidades

• Develop claim packages for changed scope, costs, disruption, delay, remobilization, and other impacts; create event chronologies and link them to contractual bases.
• Review contracts, amendments, directives, schedules, and cost records; identify missing evidence and gather it from owners, contractors, or team members.
• Prepare claim narratives, calculations, exhibits, change-order requests, and draft notices; reconcile with finance and identify prior payments and discounts.
• Assess schedule impacts using available records and determine when delay analysis is needed; evaluate evidence and shared responsibility.
