Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) seeks a Senior Manager of Change Order Management to guide contract change actions on major transit projects. This role provides technical advice on work directives, change orders, risk reallocations, and claims, coordinating with PMIS, CMS, and FMIS.

Responsibilities include supervising analysts, developing procedures, reporting to leadership, and training staff to ensure compliance with MBTA standards and procurement rules.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, Architecture or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in contract management and/or administration for heavy construction or transit projects.
• Two (2) years related managerial, supervisory, or leadership experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, confidentiality, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Experience using estimating software applications.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and database applications.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to travel to MBTA worksites, offices, and locations.
• Ability to supervise and work with a diverse workforce.

Responsabilidades

• Direct supervision of Senior Change Order Analysts, Change Order Analysts, Senior Project Coordinators and Project Coordinators.
• Provide technical advice and support for change orders, risk reallocations, and time extensions.
• Develop and implement policy changes and SOPs for change order processing.
• Coordinate interfaces between PMIS, CMS, and FMIS for seamless actions.
• Generate Change Order reports for leadership on a regular basis.
• Assist with negotiations, settlements, and documentation of scope changes.
• Train project managers and staff on MBTA policies and procedures.
• Review change orders for compliance with contracts and specs.
• Maintain filing systems and ensure MBTA systems reflect updates.
• Support audits and reporting periods with accurate documentation.
