Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as Change Order/Claims Manager on similar projects.
• Experience on projects >$500 million.
• Experience on two transportation infrastructure projects, including at least one MBTA project.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team-oriented collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist Resident Engineers and project personnel with contract administration and identifying/delivering contractual deliverables.
• Evaluate change order proposals and advise on approvals and value.
• Process change orders per project procedures; draft correspondence denying or approving changes.
• Evaluate contractor claims and prepare written analyses; draft approved change orders.
