GroundLevel Construction, Inc. is seeking a senior accounting manager to direct accounting operations, including R& A/P, cash management, and financial reporting for a construction-focused environment.

You will oversee job costing, percentage-of-completion accounting, and collaboration with management to provide decision-support. Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills are required, with experience in Viewpoint Spectrum and Procore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; 5-7 years in construction accounting preferred.
• GAAP knowledge with proven finance/management of accounting department.
• Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum and Procore or similar systems.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Manage AR/AP/PR processes, cash management and related accounting procedures.
• Maintain detailed financial data reflecting current, accurate, and transparent information.
• Create and provide reports to support short and long-term strategic planning.
• Regularly present analysis and reports in an easy-to-understand format.
• Maintain current operational data and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Monitor daily cash flow and produce daily cash flow reports.
• Ensure state and federal income tax reporting is accurate and current.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on financial performance, production, payroll, and insurance information for internal/external parties.
• Assist with collaboration with the CPA and annual audits.
• Identify and report short-term cash flow needs.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and close AP/AR/PR processes monthly.
• Assist with reporting and compliance requirements (taxes, payroll, 401K, etc.).
• Assist with internal controls and procedures: safeguard assets, secure files, separation of duties.
• Assist with WC & GL insurance renewals, annual audits, and policy administration.
• Assist in special projects as necessary.
• Use Viewpoint Spectrum, Procore, BuildOps, Adobe, SharePoint, and MS Office365.
