Job summary

Titan Electric, a leading national electrical contractor with locations across the Southeast, is seeking a Senior Accountant in Duluth, GA. This role supports financial reporting, job costing, and project analysis to drive accuracy and insights for executive leadership.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in accounting, with construction industry experience preferred, and strong Excel/ERP skills to enhance financial processes and reporting across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with financial reporting, analysis, and business partnership roles.
• Construction industry accounting experience strongly preferred, incl. project accounting, job costing, and contract management.
• Experience managing WIP schedules, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, progress billings, and project profitability analysis.
• Strong cash flow management understanding and working capital drivers.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling) and ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with GAAP.
• Drive month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Own WIP reporting and revenue recognition activities for projects.
• Partner with operations and project management for accurate job costing and forecasting.
• Analyze project margins, labor productivity, costs, and profitability drivers.
• Ensure internal controls and contract compliance; assist audits and regulatory filings.
