Job summary

Titan Electric, a leading electrical contractor, is seeking a Staff Accountant to own the financial accuracy behind large-scale construction projects and support job-cost integrity as the business grows.

You will partner with Project Managers and operations to perform month-end close, analyze WIP schedules, reconcile ledgers, and assist with audits, tax filings, and lender reporting while ensuring GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP experience preferred; CPA or CPA-track a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze Work-In-Progress (WIP) schedules using percentage-of-completion accounting
• Maintain and reconcile job cost accounting across labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Partner with Project Managers on cost forecasts, margin tracking, and change orders
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and financial statements
• Support audits, tax filings, bonding requests, and lender reporting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and construction accounting standards
