Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a construction environment.
• Strong GL, A/P, A/R, job costing, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with construction accounting software or ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting proficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with GAAP-based financial reporting.
• Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and job costing.
• Support month-end and year-end closes.
• Assist with audits and internal controls compliance.
• Develop accounting policies and reporting processes.
• Manage project budgets and cost tracking.
• Monitor labor, materials, subcontractors, and overhead costs.
• Analyze project financial reports and variances.
• Process project billings and revenue recognition.
• Review contracts for financial and contractual compliance.
• Identify financial risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Partner with project managers and leadership for decisions.
• Maintain project documentation and audit readiness.
• Mentor accounting staff as needed.
