Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Connectivity Engineer based in Miramar, FL, reporting to the Senior Manager, Connectivity Engineering. The role focuses on designing and managing robust Layer 1 infrastructure for global fleet connectivity and shoreside systems.

Responsibilities include leading enterprise-grade connectivity projects, collaborating across teams, and mentoring junior engineers to uphold best practices and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Layer 1 infrastructure design and installation.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation abilities.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with CAD/Revit/PDF and construction documents helpful.

Responsibilities

• Designs and optimizes high-performance Layer 1 infrastructure for maritime and land operations.
• Leads implementation of enterprise-grade connectivity solutions with scalability and security.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate connectivity with onboard systems, data platforms, and cloud environments.
• Monitors performance metrics and drives continuous improvement with minimal downtime.
• Manages vendor relationships and negotiates SLAs for infrastructure services.
• Champions innovation by assessing emerging technologies and recommending upgrades.
• Provides mentorship to junior engineers to promote technical excellence.
