Job summary

Vantage Point Consulting Inc. seeks an experienced Conflicts Attorney to support firm-wide conflicts clearance, new business intake, and legal hire reviews. You will identify, analyze, and resolve potential conflicts in collaboration with attorneys, the General Counsel, and Deputy General Counsel.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of professional responsibility rules, excellent legal research and analytical skills, and hands-on experience with conflicts and workflow systems such as Intapp.

Qualifications

JD degree required.
Licensed to practice law in NJ, NY, DE, MD, TX, FL, or Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze conflict reports related to new clients, matters, legal hires, and business initiatives.
Independently identify potential conflicts of interest and determine appropriate resolution strategies.
Conduct legal research on professional responsibility rules, ethics opinions, and jurisdictional requirements.
Communicate potential conflicts clearly to attorneys and assist with developing resolutions.
Work directly with attorneys to investigate and resolve actual or potential conflicts.
Provide guidance and oversight to Conflict Analysts on conflict research and analysis.
