Job summary

Holland & Knight LLP in Dallas seeks an experienced conflicts and client intake professional to support attorneys by processing new matters, performing conflicts checks, and ensuring compliance with firm policies.

The role requires a Juris Doctorate with 5+ years of law firm experience in conflicts of interest, excellent communication, and meticulous attention to detail; you will collaborate with Finance and Legal teams and help maintain ethical walls.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and U.S. bar admission.
• 5+ years legal experience in conflicts of interest or professional responsibility, preferably at a large law firm.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and communicate clearly in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Process intake of prospective clients and matters for firm attorneys.
• Perform conflicts checks, review reports, and identify potential conflicts.
• Draft and analyze engagement letters and waiver letters as needed.
• Coordinate with Finance and Legal teams to process new business requests.
• Maintain ethical walls and monitor ethics rules and case law changes.
• Answer questions related to conflicts of interest and firm policies.
