Job summary

Holland & Knight in Dallas seeks a Conflicts Attorney to manage the conflict resolution process for new business intake, under oversight of the firm's Professional Standards Partner.

You will perform conflicts checks, review reports, obtain due diligence, draft letters, and coordinate with Finance and Legal teams. Periodic in-person meetings and occasional travel within U.S. offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and U.S. bar admission.
• 5+ years legal experience, preferably with a large law firm in conflicts of interest or professional responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Process intake of prospective clients and matters.
• Perform conflicts checks and review conflict reports.
• Draft waiver letters and engagement letters as needed.
• Coordinate with Finance and Legal teams to process new business requests.
• Maintain ethical walls and monitor changes in ethics rules.
