Job summary

Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a seasoned Conflicts Attorney to perform conflicts analysis for new business and firm lateral hires, advising lawyers on conflicts of interest and ensuring compliance with ethics rules across jurisdictions. The role requires drafting waivers, advising on withdrawal and screening, and managing a substantial workload with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctorate and at least five years of practice, including two years in a conflicts/ethics

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must have a Juris Doctorate and a minimum of five years of practice experience.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney I or equivalent senior level conflict/ethics experience.
• Active bar membership in any jurisdiction is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze conflicts of interest for new business and lateral hires; draft waivers and advisory opinions.
• Resolve complex conflicts issues with minimal supervision.
• Manage large workloads and prioritize to meet deadlines with discretion.
• Provide training on conflicts issues and act as a strategic advisor to firm lawyers.
