Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a dynamic Conflicts Attorney to perform conflicts analysis on new business and lateral hires and advise firm lawyers on conflicts of interest issues. The attorney will review, research, and resolve conflicts while ensuring compliance with ethical standards in all jurisdictions.

Essential duties include drafting waivers and letters, negotiating resolutions, providing legal research, and collaborating with colleagues across U.S. and international offices.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate required and active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum 3 years of legal practice experience.
Knowledge of rules of professional conduct and their application.

Responsibilities

Analyze conflicts of interest on new business and lateral hires.
Draft waivers and engagement/joint representation letters.
Advise firm lawyers on ethical issues and conflicts-of-interest matters.
Perform legal research and prepare memoranda.
Collaborate with colleagues across U.S. and international offices.
