Job summary

Fredrikson & Byron in Minneapolis seeks a Senior Conflicts Analyst to join the Conflicts Team. You will perform advanced conflicts searches for new matters and lateral hires, analyze corporate structures, and prepare clear recommendations.

You will mentor junior analysts, support risk management initiatives, and help improve conflicts tools and workflows while handling sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of conflicts analysis or risk management experience in a large professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of conflicts rules under professional conduct rules.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced conflicts searches and analysis for new matters and lateral hires.
• Research and analyze corporate structures, subsidiaries, and affiliations.
• Review intake materials to identify conflicts and assess risk.
• Prepare written summaries and recommendations on routine conflicts issues.
• Support lateral hire conflict reviews with HR and evaluation of matters.
• Mentor junior analysts on search strategy and documentation.
• Respond to inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
• Contribute to process improvements and tooling/testing.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion.
