Job summary

Amazon Leo's satellite program is seeking an experienced Configuration Change Analyst/Manager with deep expertise in Configuration Management and Systems Engineering to own engineering change analysis across satellite design, interfaces, requirements, and program constraints.

You will lead the Change Control Board, maintain baselines across multiple vehicle configurations, develop data-driven technical packages, and provide executive reporting on change health and metrics while ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field).
5+ years in Configuration Management including Change Management in aerospace, satellite, or defense programs.
Systems Engineering experience for spacecraft systems.
Experience performing impact analysis across satellite or aerospace systems at system and subsystem level.
Experience establishing data hierarchies and structures for aerospace systems with multiple evolving product lines.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the configuration management baseline for the satellite across multiple vehicle configurations and evolving product lines; enforce configuration identification, change accounting, and configuration status accounting disciplines.
Perform comprehensive impact analysis across satellite and aerospace systems for all engineering change proposals; assess impacts to technical design, interface specifications, requirements, schedule, cost, and production.
Own the definition and maintenance of business requirements and process documentation (QSD standards) for Engineering Change Control—ensuring change workflows, classification logic, and approval processes are codified, enforceable, and aligned with the LeoSpace Engineering Application Platform and Teamcenter
Establish and maintain data hierarchies and structures for aerospace systems with multiple evolving product lines; ensure as-designed, as-built, and as-tested configurations are accurately captured and traceable through the PLM toolchain.
Lead the Change Control Board (CCB) and LeoSpace Platform impact assessment mechanisms; manage analysis, dependencies, and deliverables for all change categories across engineering disciplines.
Develop and present data-driven technical packages to leadership and management; produce GD&T-compliant drawing packages and engineering documentation that support change disposition.
Coordinate change analysis across multiple engineering functions (Satellite Bus, Payload, EE, Phased Array Antenna, RF, Structures) ensuring impact assessments and necessary escalations are effectively managed.
Maintain engineering change notification logs; track status, ownership, and disposition across all open change actions; deliver executive-level reporting on change control health and metrics.
Apply systems engineering expertise to evaluate change impacts across spacecraft subsystems; ensure changes retain compliance with interface control documents and system-level requirements.
