Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an entry-to-mid level electrical systems engineer to support the Leo satellite power system, including simulation, requirements development, and verification.

You will track power consumption of satellite avionics, build models, process telemetry data to validate performance, and develop automation scripts; collaborate across teams and present results in design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, physics, or equivalent.
• 1+ years of engineering experience in electrical power systems or energy systems.
• Proficiency in Matlab or Python for data analysis and scripting.
• Coursework or project experience in circuit analysis, power electronics, or control systems.

Responsibilities

• Support simulation, analysis, requirements development, and verification for the Leo power system.
• Track power consumption of satellite avionics and build electrical models.
• Process on-orbit telemetry data to validate system performance.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate data processing and generate power budget reports.
