Job summary

HOTEL DU PONT is seeking an experienced Conference Services Manager to lead planning, coordination, and flawless servicing of contracted group business, from small executive meetings to large multi-day conferences.

The role requires highly organized, proactive professionals who can collaborate across hotel departments, upsell services, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining financial controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in conference services or group event management within a luxury/full-service hotel.
• Experience managing corporate meetings, large-scale conferences, and multi-day programs.
• Strong working knowledge of BEOs, group resumes, room block management, and hotel billing procedures.
• Experience with Delphi or comparable hotel sales and catering systems, Opera, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact for assigned groups from turnover through program completion.
• Coordinate all program requirements including guestrooms, meeting space, F&B, A/V, transportation, and VIP arrangements.
• Prepare and distribute BEOs, group resumes, diagrams, timelines, and planning documents.
• Conduct client planning meetings, site visits, and internal reviews.
• Maintain timely communication of program requirements to all hotel departments.
• Manage on-site servicing, pre-event walk-throughs, and on-site guest experiences.
• Monitor and address changes, issues, and revenue implications with leadership.
