Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Oxford, MS is seeking a Catering and Conference Services Manager to oversee conference services and banquets, coordinating with sales, F&B, and events teams. This role requires hands-on management of event spaces, pricing guidance, and client engagement.

Responsibilities include coordinating rooms, catering, A/V setups, preparing contracts and BEOs, and driving loyalty through exceptional service. Evening/weekend work and leadership in hotel sales are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; higher education preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in progressive hotel sales with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conference rooms and event spaces for meetings and groups.
• Organize catering, reserve audio-visual equipment, and adjust event space configuration.
• Meet with groups to discuss event plans and sign contracts.
• Collaborate with hotel department heads to coordinate events.
• Provide pricing guidance to clients with leadership approval.
• Drive loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
• Lead tours and entertain qualified potential clients following policy.
• Prepare resumes, BEOs, and customer communications for events.
• Support sales strategy and upsell to maintain client loyalty.
