Schulte Hospitality Group in Oxford, MS is seeking a Conference Services Manager to coordinate conference rooms, banquet or catering services, and drive client satisfaction for events. You will liaise with groups, sign agreements, and collaborate with other departments to ensure flawless execution of meetings and functions.

The role requires 3 years in progressive hotel sales with leadership responsibilities and a strong grasp of revenue management, pricing and sales strategies.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; post-high school education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set example through professional, friendly attitude towards clients and associates
• Coordinate conference rooms and event spaces; coordinate services for meetings and events
• Organize banquet or catering services; reserve audio-visual equipment; adjust event space
• Meet with representatives of groups to discuss event plans
• Sign contractual agreements and maintain written records
• Coordinate with department heads to plan events
• Monitor events and address issues to ensure smooth execution
• Provide pricing and guidance recommendations to clients with approvals as needed
• Drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence
• Conduct tours and entertain qualified potential clients per policies
• Prepare resumes, BEOs, and customer correspondence; support operations
• Work with sales managers to align strategies and upsell to clients
• Perform other duties as assigned
