Job summary

Mondrian South Beach is seeking a Catering/Conference Services Manager to oversee conferences, meetings and group functions booked through the sales team. You will liaise between clients and the hotel during pre-planning, execution and post-event wrap, while also handling some catering-only assignments.

The role requires coordinating resumes, rooming lists, BEOs, billing and on-site logistics, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and profitability.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Requires a minimum of three plus years’ experience in the market with a proven sales track record. Hotel or sales experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conferences and events from pre-planning to post-event wrap.
• Create group resumes, manage rooming lists and cut-off dates for groups.
• Liaise between clients and hotel to ensure successful events and billing.
• Prepare accurate banquet event orders (BEOs) with agenda, menus, setup and billing.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships and on-site logistics for events.
• Support site inspections and post-event evaluations, ensuring timely communication with teams.
