Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Nashville seeks a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects on site. You will oversee material and equipment, assist with people management, and ensure documentation supports timely, profitable completion aligned with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role requires coordinating with owners, design teams, and authorities, leading safety and QA/QC, and managing budgets and schedules with the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee safety, quality and cost reporting for project milestones.
• Coordinate project meetings (standups, trade meetings, OAC).
• Ensure proper documentation, cost reports and daily logs.
