Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale commercial and industrial projects with a focus on concrete. The role offers a salary range of $140,000 to $180,000 per year and requires at least 5 years of superintendent experience, with proven concrete self-perform capabilities.

The successful candidate will oversee all phases from planning to completion, coordinate teams, ensure safety and quality, and communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a Superintendent or similar role in construction.
• Proven self-perform experience with concrete on commercial/industrial projects.
• Exceptional leadership to manage diverse teams of workers and subcontractors.
• Strong project planning and execution skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field preferred.
• Certifications in construction safety or related areas a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all phases of the construction project from initial planning to completion.
• Coordinating and supervising the construction process from development through final construction.
• Ensuring all activities align with the project plan.
• Leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met at all times.
• Interacting with clients, interpreting plans and contract terms to staff and contractors.
• Scheduling and coordinating workers, subcontractors, and materials supplies.
