Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Superintendent to lead large-scale concrete projects for commercial and industrial facilities. You will oversee planning, safety, schedule, and field coordination, directing subcontractors and crews to meet project goals.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years in a superintendent role, strong leadership and communication skills, and proven self-perform concrete experience on complex sites. A related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Superintendent or similar role in construction.
• Proven self-perform experience with concrete on commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor a diverse crew.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and execution capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Degree preferred in CM, architecture, or engineering; safety certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all construction project phases from planning to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise construction processes from development through delivery.
• Ensure activities align with the project plan and timelines.
• Lead a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety and quality standards at all times.
• Interface with clients to explain plans and contract terms; manage material schedules.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to join our team. As a leader in the construction industry, we specialize in a variety of projects, including data center construction, commercial and industrial buildings, core and shell constructions, concrete slab and structural cast projects. Our projects also span government contracts and cast-in-place structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in any one of these areas, coupled with superior project planning and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all phases of the construction project from initial planning to completion.
• Coordinating and supervising the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction.
• Ensuring that all construction activities are in alignment with the project plan.
• Managing and leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensuring all safety protocols and quality standards are met at all times.
• Interacting with clients, interpreting and explaining plans and contract terms to involved staff and contractors.
• Scheduling and coordinating workers, subcontractors, and materials supplies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven self-perform experience with concrete on commercial and/or industrial projects is a must.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Strong project planning and execution skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications in construction safety and other relevant areas will be a plus.
