Job summary

Kimmel Associates is seeking an experienced Superintendent for commercial concrete construction operations in Charlottesville, Virginia. The successful candidate will lead project teams, manage crews, ensure quality standards, and maintain a safe jobsite.

Key responsibilities include overseeing installations of concrete systems, coordinating manpower, and collaborating with project managers. Required qualifications include 5–7+ years of experience in commercial construction and strong leadership

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably with cast-in-place concrete.
• Strong knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and installation practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage concrete construction including foundations and slabs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist crews with installation of commercial concrete systems.
• Manage daily jobsite activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with General Contractors and prepare daily reports on jobsite conditions.
