Job summary

Crookham Construction in Kansas is seeking a seasoned Concrete Construction Project Manager to lead multiple commercial concrete projects from start to finish. This is not an entry level role; we want a proven PM with concrete sub-contractor experience to drive success on complex builds.

You will plan, schedule, and monitor budgets, coordinate with clients, engineers, and subs, ensure safety and quality, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in concrete construction.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze project data and make informed decisions.
• OSHA certification and a commitment to safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Impact: Plan, organize, and manage concrete construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with clients, engineers, and superintendents to review project plans and align them with project goals.
• Drive Success: Lead project meetings to communicate objectives, milestones, and expectations, keeping everyone on track.
• Stay Ahead: Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Problem Solver: Manage and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions to keep projects on course.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure top-notch workmanship and safety compliance.
• Report and Reflect: Prepare and submit detailed project reports to clients and senior management.
• Compliance Champion: Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements, building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
