Job summary

Okland Construction in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Concrete Project Manager to oversee self-perform concrete on large commercial projects. You will ensure planning, execution, and delivery meet schedule, budget, and quality standards while leading a team and coordinating with superintendents, estimators, and preconstruction.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in Construction Management and 8+ years of self-perform concrete experience, with expertise in forming systems and proficiency in P6,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
• 8+ years of experience managing self-perform concrete projects.
• Expertise in horizontal and vertical forming systems.
• Proficiency in P6, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and interface between materials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain project schedules, logistics plans, and cost projections for concrete scope.
• Budget & Resource Management: Manage labor, materials, and equipment to meet project goals and financial targets.
• Coordination: Partner with superintendents, estimators, and preconstruction teams to align on sequencing and resource allocation.
• Quality Assurance: Enforce Okland’s quality standards through inspections, mock-ups, and compliance with specifications.
• Safety Leadership: Promote and enforce Okland’s safety culture and OSHA guidelines across all job sites.
• Vendor & Contract Oversight: Maintain understanding of trade partner agreements and hold parties accountable while fostering fair relationships.
• Team Development: Mentor and train craft and salaried team members to elevate concrete expertise and performance.
