Job summary

Gray, through NexGen Contracting, seeks a Chief Estimator for the Concrete Division to lead bid development on concrete projects across multiple US locations including Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta, Franklin, and Charleston.

The role requires overseeing detailed cost estimates, labor, equipment, and materials, managing Building Connected bid invitations, vendor outreach, and travel to project sites for preconstruction visits. Strong experience in concrete estimation software is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• Minimum of ten years’ construction experience with at least five in commercial concrete.
• Proficiency with concrete design/estimation software and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall bid process for concrete projects.
• Prepare detailed estimates including labor, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain Building Connected bid invitations and coordinate with vendors.
• Travel to project sites for preconstruction and construction visits.

10+ years of construction experience
