Job summary

Canyon Contracting, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead concrete construction projects from planning through completion.

You will coordinate with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and contract guidance while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships with project teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing concrete construction projects.
• Experience with budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
• Knowledge of building codes, OSHA requirements, and regulations.
• Ability to negotiate contracts and change orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall direction and execution of concrete construction projects.
• Review drawings, specs, scope, and contract requirements.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and profitability.
• Identify and actively manage project risks.
• Lead pre-job meetings with stakeholders.
• Develop, track, and manage RFIs and submittals.
• Develop and maintain project production schedules.
• Ensure safety plans and quality control are followed.
