Christman Mid-Atlantic Constructors in Sterling, Virginia is seeking a Concrete Project Manager to lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with clients, trades and vendors.

You will manage project goals, staffing, risk, procurement, safety, and reporting, ensuring quality and timely delivery on complex concrete construction projects. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or other relevant course work.
• Five (5) or more years of work experience in construction or related job field.
• Intermediate computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and maintains client relationships to understand leadership and project needs from contract through warranty.
• Coordinates development and delivery of project planning services (e.g., estimating, scheduling, value engineering, reporting).
• Establishes and clarifies project-specific goals related to schedule, safety, accounting, labor relations, and data processing/reporting.
• Manages client relations, including clarifying quality standards, expectations, and priorities as presented in design documents and punch lists.
• Oversees processing of project information documents, bulletins, field work orders, and change orders with formal authorization.
• Compares client needs to contractual obligations and project delivery with trades, vendors, and suppliers.
• Defines project goals and priorities for resource allocation and staffing.
• Establishes subcontract agreements and communicates expectations to trade contractors.
• Clarifies expectations in written documents and during pre-bid and post-bid meetings.
• Executes project risk protections and determines insurance approach and coverage.
