Job summary

JBG SMITH is seeking a Lead Concierge to create exceptional resident experiences at our Washington, DC properties. You will lead and train a concierge team, greet residents warmly, and coordinate tours to assist leasing, while connecting residents with premium neighborhood services.

Developing local knowledge to recommend cafés, galleries, and events, you will maintain an organized front desk for packages and reservations, participate in community activities, and respond quickly to resident

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service-related fields such as hospitality, retail, or restaurants.
• Prior leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire for learning and professional development.
• Strong aptitude for computer systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Building a strong and cohesive concierge team that is motivated to perform including assisting, training, and coaching new team members while providing feedback to continuously improve the level of service
• Delivering a warm greeting to current and prospective residents to welcome them home
• Providing information to prospective residents and coordinating tours to assist leasing
• Connecting residents with high-end services available in the community (e.g., dog walkers, personal trainers, farm-fresh deliveries)
• Developing knowledge of the neighborhood to recommend coffeeshops, art exhibits, and things to do
• Maintaining a highly organized front desk to assist residents with packages, dry-cleaning deliveries, and room reservations
• Participating in community activities and social events to build resident relationships
• Responding quickly to resident requests and solving problems to drive satisfaction
