Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Senior COMSEC Systems Integrator – CMCS SME to provide senior technical support for integration, modernization, sustainment, and interoperability of COMSEC software and databases. The role supports CMCS and related interfaces used to manage COMSEC operations.

The candidate will serve as a senior SME for CMCS, integrating applications and infrastructure, and ensuring alignment with NIST and security-control requirements across modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of software, database, or similar experience.
• CMCS subject-matter expertise.
• Experience with NIST 800-53.
• Experience with security control lifecycles.
• Experience supporting federal government agencies or contracts (IC/DoD/FDAs).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior subject-matter expert for CMCS.
• Integrate COMSEC applications, databases, interfaces, and supporting infrastructure.
• Support software and database modernization efforts.
• Analyze application interfaces, data flows, dependencies, and integration requirements.
• Support design, testing, deployment, migration, implementation, and sustainment.
• Troubleshoot complex software/database integration problems.
• Coordinate activities across developers, database specialists, systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and operations teams.
• Ensure system integration activities align with applicable NIST and security-control requirements.
• Support technical documentation and configuration management.
• Assist with modernization of legacy COMSEC systems and accountability capabilities.
• Support technical reviews and change-control activities.
