Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a COMSEC Manager to lead all communications security functions for the C3I team, ensuring proper accounting, configuration, distribution, and protection of classified crypto material. The role requires experience with COMSEC hardware, key management, and SOP development.

It serves as the primary technical/administrative contact for COMSEC users in mission-critical operations. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory records, interfacing with COR and NSA Auditors,

Qualifications

• Meet the requirements for the DoD 8140 Intermediate Proficiency Level.
• Ability to interpret, apply, and communicate COMSEC-related standards and contractual documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain COMSEC inventory records and submit required accounting reports.
• Coordinate with COR and NSA Auditors.
• Configure, install, program, and troubleshoot crypto hardware to minimize downtime.
• Conduct briefings/debriefings for users and retain documentation.
• Manage COMSEC keying material with SKL and other approved devices.
• Provide support to COMSEC equipment holders and ensure interoperability of equipment.
• Develop, update, and maintain SOPs for COMSEC activities.
• Re-key circuits and perform hands-on installation and maintenance of COMSEC equipment.
• Assist with networking troubleshooting affecting cryptographic systems.
• Maintain COMSEC access list reflecting current clearances.
• Interpret network drawings to meet cryptographic requirements.
• Perform OTAT of key material to remote sites as needed.
