Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist - COMSEC / KMI for the Department of State COMSEC IT Services contract. The role supports development, maintenance, organization, governance, and dissemination of operational knowledge for COMSEC operations and secure communications.

Active TS/SCI clearance and experience with federal environments are highly desirable. The candidate will coordinate with SMEs to document procedures and ensure audit readiness, while maintaining secure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in COMSEC operations, secure communications, and controlled-accountability systems.
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments.
• Experience with COMSEC or cryptographic operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational procedures, work instructions, knowledge articles, and reference materials.
• Capture and preserve institutional knowledge.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation repositories.
• Support knowledge transfer between teams and personnel.
• Review documentation for accuracy, currency, consistency, and completeness.
• Maintain KMI and COMSEC operational knowledge artifacts.
• Assist with lessons-learned capture and process improvement.
